Good morning Beauties!!!! Today is “Work it Wednesday” in my Private Facebook Group, and I wanted to share this post with you here as well!
I waned to share something that has WORKED for me during my journey of self care and wellness. The number 1 thing that has helped me find joy and inner peace is giving myself a good TIME OUT.
Every morning I sit for at least 5 minutes, in my quite space (which is my office/zen room), and I sit with my coffee, my crystals, my essential oils and my tarot. Some days I pull a tarot card from whichever deck I’m being drawn to and think about how that cards meaning could be telling me something about my life, or what I may need to pay more attention to. (You don’t need to be a tarot reader to do this. Each deck comes with a small book that gives you card descriptions for each of the cards in the deck. If you have never used a tarot deck before, I would recommend you start with an oracle deck instead.) Some days I read a short inspirational quote from a book like the “Blessings in the Morning” book that I posted a few days ago… But, most days I just sit and BREATHE. I will uncap one of my essential oils (usually Citrus Bliss for motivation or Breathe for focus and relaxation), and I take this time to connect with my body. I listen to my heart, I smell my oils in the air, I become aware of the clothing I’m wearing and how it feels, I just make a point to feel what it’s like to be completely in the moment.
I can get so caught up in the busy life that comes with work and kids and cleaning and television, I forget to be present. Doing this everyday not only lets me connect and check in with how I’m doing, and what I need, but it also let’s me check in with my higher self and with my connection to God, and the universal love that surrounds me every single day.
Now, I’m not posting this to tell you that this is something you should do, but I want to ask you if you personally give yourself TIME each and everyday to just “be”? If not, take some time to think about what you love. Maybe it’s sitting outside and listening to the birds. Give yourself permission to make YOU a priority, and take the time you need to care for yourself, rest, reset, motivate, clear your head, whatever it may be that you need to do to bring you back into balance. 🌲☀✨ I hope this inspires and encourages you to have your special moments in your special places. Notes~ The healing crystals that you see here in this photo are Orange Carnelian and Rainbow Fluorite.
