Hi there, Pretty Blossom!
If you are new to Holistic Healing, one of the biggest adjustments that you will have to make is to consciously make your daily self-healing practice, a priority. This includes making YOURSELF a priority. 🙂
For some, this is much easier said than done. A lot of us don’t feel that we are truly worth investing our own time into. I have been there, and if this is a feeling that you personally relate to, this next video is for you! Start small. Super small, and when you are ready to dive into the next posts about the chakras, crystals and essential oils, etc., move forward at a pace that is comfortable for you. Everyone has their own unique starting point, and speed in which they self heal and progress. *Don’t mind my appearance in this video, it was filmed on the fly! 😉
If you are ready to move on, here are some additional ideas and tips to help you prioritize yourself and your self-healing, so that you can stay strong and consistent throughout the process…
Personal Development Books and/or Scripture
During your new self-healing practice, you will experience up, downs, breakthroughs, crashes, and everything in between!Trust me when I say that this is NORMAL. Is confronting out fear and imperfections sometimes an emotional process, YES, but the soul growth that blooms as a result of your bravery and willingness to explore every part of you will be worth more than any currency! 🙂 During the low times especially, however, it is incredibly important to fill your cup! Keep adding positive and encouraging words of wisdom to your day, with some type of reading.
Personal Development books have been a HUGE part of my success with self-healing, because sometimes, I need that outside push to keep me motivated and empowered. I think we all do. Scripture, for those of us who are more Faith centered is an amazing way to uplift your spirit and to fill you cup as well. 🙂 Reach for what resonates with you. If you are unsure, the link to the book below is a GREAT (non denomination) place to start!

Having A Sacred Space
You deserve something special, dedicated to YOU and your self healing journey! 🙂
Having a sacred space not only transforms part of your environment into a sanctuary for you, but it gives you a place to vacation to, every day, where you can turn off the noise of the World, and focus inward, on you. 🙂 Now, a sacred space doesn’t have to be crazy! (Yes, I have an entire room dedicated to this now, but I started out with the bowl you saw in the previous video, and my shower.) It can be as simple as a chair in the corner, removed from the rest of the house. It could be a notebook or journal if you are someone who likes to document your progress and channel your thoughts through writing. It could be the top of a dresser where you display different house plants and perhaps a few special things from nature that make you feel grounded and at peace. It could be a small sewing box that you keep your small collection of healing crystals it (which I also have as part of my sacred space in the picture above). It could be a drawer in your desk that is dedicated to your essential oils or personal development books. It could even be the shower, or your bed.
The key with this is to dedicate some type of quiet space, object(s) or area (away from your computer, phone an the TV), solely to your emotional and spiritual wellness. Visit your sacred space for at least a few minutes, each and every day. Take these few minutes to quite your mind and check in with your Spirit. How are you feeling in this moment? What do you need in this moment? What are your grateful for in this moment?… This gives you a safe, loving, non judgmental space where you can find your center, connect to your Spirit (or Higher Self), and release the stress, tension and negative energy that you have accumulated throughout the day. I also often take these moments to say thank you to the people in my life, spirit, nature and the Universe for it’s love and support. By visiting this area daily, you are acknowledging that your wellness is worth your time, which is a necessary part of having a successful self-healing practice. 🙂
Over time, your sacred spaces will change, and morph with your practice. Have FUN with this. 🙂 I would love to hear about your sacred spaces in the comments below.
